My head gets so full sometimes that I just don't know where to begin. It's the same old story, I really need to start coming up with new ones. Lately, it's been all politics, economics, and work floating around up in here. All of that and not enough effort spent on finishing up our taxes. I started in January, but pretty much put it on hold when I figured out that we owed money. Makes sense right?
This past weekend we saw Chris Rock perform at the Paramount theater in Oakland. It was a pretty good show. I was a bit hesitant at first because the theater is in a area of Oakland that I don't really go to much. It's a good thing that we went though, it's a beautiful theater. We also went to downtown Livermore to do some wine tasting and ended up passing by our favorite sushi restaurant which recently relocated from nearby our house.
It seems strange to me putting into words these small odds and ends of our lives. Like I said, most of the space up here is taken up by more serious matters. This past Friday night I was on-site to supervise and coordinate some construction work. It ended up being a bust as PG&E pulled off the project without really doing anything or trying even. Even that small bit a bad luck was more exciting than most of my days. I have two jobs starting up in June. By then I should have more than I can possibly handle. We're also losing two people in the next couple of months. I imagine, if I'm able to continue writing here, my life with begin to seem more and more fragmented.
Until then however, here are a couple of links I commend to anyone who has a couple of spare hours: On the current administration and On the current crisis
